350 million years ago there was only water on the earth. So all living things lived in water. But when water started to vapour, living things started to get out of water.
After animals got out of water, they started to evoluate. These new kind of animal could live in water and on soil. But they had to live near water because they needed to lay their eggs in water.
The animals that could live in water and on soil continued evoluating. At the end of this evoluating, the first lizards formed. The first lizards were very big and they could live on soil easily. They didnt need to live near water.
230 million years ago
some of these lizards legs got stronger. These are the first dinosours.
